After lunch, we head to Baker Innz for cakes and coffee. We have not met for almost a month, hence we have a lot of catching up to do. In the midst of our casual chat, my dear friend breaks a piece of bad news to us. I hope my friend will resolve the problem soon. Hang in there, dear friend!

Just realize I didn't have a photo of the New York cheese cake which is going at half price ;) The cheese cake tastes good and we notice it's selling like hot cakes!! Hmm.. are they truly cheese cake lovers or bargain hunters.. I wonder.

From Tampines One, we leave for Marina Square to check out what the annual Great Singapore Sale has to offer!! Before we commence our bargain hunts, we had our stomachs filled at Thai Express.


This is watermelon juice with lime. It's sooooo refreshing! It really quench our dry throats!! Haha!

The shops are closing one by one by the time we finish our food, so we didn't get to do much shopping. We have to wait for Derrick to knock off at 1am, thus we intend to chill out at Caramel while waiting for him. En route to his office, I saw a road sign which says Emily Hill and it strikes me we could go to Wild Oats for drinks instead!

I heard this camera is selling like hot cakes in Singapore! Hmmm.. I am extremely tempted to get one because I love the black body! Aside from having good looks, this camera can produce excellent quality pictures!!


It comes with accessory like case in these 3 colors. Only available in Japan. The case is soooo retro looking and I love them!!!

It's more than 40 degree celcius out there, so I settle for lunch in the hotel. To my astonishment, my bill comes up to S$40 for a seafood pasta!! My lunch was not even close to satisfactory! :S

Am now back to the room. And I have problem navigating FB. Guess what? It's not in English! Relieved it's not in foreign language on blogspot.

I am so happy to be back to Seoul! My last visit was at least 5 years back!!! Gosh! That's a long, long time! When I arrive Myung Dong, I see that it's like Orchard Road in Singapore. It's smaller, with lesser shops, many years ago! I see many skin care shops around, like Skin Food, Hanskin, The Face Shop, Missha, and some other brands not found in Singapore. They are luring customers in with free gifts! Some sale girls even tempt me with free gifts to enter their shops! I didn't fall into their traps. Hee. I get a few items from The Face Shop and they threw in few freebies in my shopping bag.


Arrived Myung Dong in taxi as I have woken up late, as planned. I have to drag myself out of the bed and managed to leave the hotel at 4pm.



I heard so much about Krispy Kreme in Seoul and I found it in Myung Dong, shortly I arrived. This is my so-called lunch. This is complimentary with every 6 donuts purchased. One word to describe it, SOFT!! And it's still warm :)


I packed this home.



Bought a pair of cutie flip flop, which is made in China. I paid S$34 for it. Hmmm.. not very cheap though... for the quality I get. It comes in pink, beige and green.


Infamous kim chi. I cannot appreciate this. It's too spicy for my liking.


My dinner in Myung Dong. Beef and mushroom w/rice in hot pot. Taste better with the chilli paste. You have to mix all the ingredients before eating.

Pretty exhausted by the time I got back to hotel at 8.30pm. I'm in bed by 10pm as I have to wake at 5.30am the next day.

We are at Joanne's house today to exchange Spain trip photos. While waiting for the photos to be transferred, Lydia and I start making strawberry shortcake. Lydia slices all the strawberries! It's ready in a jiffy. She's good, ain't she? Ha.

I am glad I went to bed at 11pm last night and did not wake in the wee hour anymore. My sleep has stretched a little longer now, unlike the past 2 nights in Hong Kong, I couldn't sleep past 3am! Although waking at 6am is early, it beats waking at 3am right? I am really grateful for getting longer sleep, after returning from States. Hope my body clock is able to adjust soon.

I am going to get myself ready for breakfast with Maggie at Provence Bakery in Holland Village. We have postponed a few times and our plan has materialized finally. Ha.

At 9am, we arrive at Holland Village. Not many breads are ready yet.



Ham sandwich set. It comes with a coffee or tea.

Milk Pan. We send this to our mouths when it's out fresh from the oven!


The milk custard melts in our mouths!!

I hope this product is able to remove yellow stains on my fingernails. I wanted to get Nailtek Foundation II and the owner recommended this to me. Wish to see results soon!

Once I paid for this, I quickly open the box to see which outfit I picked randomly from the rack! Hope I draw one I like. I was a little disappointed as I didn't get the leopard print skirt. Boo hoo hoo. I was so tempted to get a second one to try my luck, but I am afraid of getting the same outfit. Hmmm... I was so tempted. The rest are so lovely! I just can't help thinking the rest are better choices. I yearn to own 1, 2, 4, 6.. Haha.

I went to CTMA Centre in Mongkok, hunting for Blythe doll outfits. Out of 5-6 shops selling Blythe dolls, only half of them sell outfits for the dolls. Relieved to find one selling some girly clothes.

Here's the full set of 8pcs of outfits. They sell individual ones but the box doesn't tell you which set of outfit you gonna get. I am afraid of getting repeated ones. Since I like them all, so I rather get the full set. These are so mch cheaper from the last batch of clothings my frenz got for me. So glad to find gd deal here! Hmm.. think the quality aren't that good. I paid HKD290 for it.

I was so thrilled opening the 8 boxes one by one, because you are clueless what you going to see as it's not labelled. It's like unwrapping EIGHT presents!!

You get a chewy gum in each box, it's for you to chew while opening the boxes. Haha!

At the end of the day, my doll gets 8 new outfits! Hee.

Strawberry shortcake. The serving is so huge! Underneath the scone, there's 3 scoops of ice cream. I was stuffed after eating this on my own. How I wish Lydia's here to share with me as she loves strawberries!! It sure tastes better when you "fight" for it. Haha. Hmm.. mebe we should try making this at home one day~

After such a huge lunch, I decided to skip dinner, which I really did!
