My first Anthropolgie


Admiral Jumper. Was USD158 Now USD79.95. Glad size zero is available.


It's a cinch pants ~ my second. Was USD78 Now USD19.95.


Swept away top. Was USD49 now USD 29.95.

I wasn't looking at pants in the store. When I brought a few pieces of dresses to the fitting room, I saw the sales girl in this pair of pants which looked pretty cool to me. Hmmm.. this pair I got is size 4 (Medium) which is the smallest size available. I love it so much that I didn't mind putting on a pair of slightly over-sized pants. Hee.

I bought another blouse which cost me USD29.95 and I was extremely happy to find my size when I visited the store again.

After I left San Francisco, my friend went back to the store and she brought back 3 new dresses at a steal! I am so jealous of her!! They are all so pretty!

This is our first meal of the day, at five in the evening! I have a hard time waking man!! I am close to giving dinner a pass. Gavin, Chris, Shih Yee and I are all famished.



Peppered beef with broccoli . This is quite tasty!


Scrambled egg with dried conpoy.


This dish is made of steam egg with century egg. Chris said it's his wife, Vernicia's favorite dish. It takes 15mins to steam the eggs.


My LOVE!! I love this dress very much and it comes in white and ivory. This dress which catches my eyes is ideal to be worn at weddings. It's not expensive but I didn't buy it as I reckon I don't have many weddings to attend as most of my friends are married ;)

You are going to be missed by me!!


This is dessert from our all-time favorite dessert shop in Hong Kong! I pick one of the Monday specials.


A sweet posy I get for a birthday girl. Hope she likes it.

This bouquet is done by a man who loses one leg and he is resting the amputated leg on one clutch. But his hand movements are swift when he wraps the flowers for me.


I go to bed early as I am going to have a long day out tomorrow. I doze off at 11pm but wake at 1am!!! Gosh!! Must be the tea I had at 5pm!! The caffeine is keeping me awake!!

Oh dear! One hour has passed and I am still wide awake although I am feeling tired. I think I toss and turn on the bed until 6 in the morning!

Today, I have half a day with SW, who arrived last night. She calls at 5.30am and we have breakfast in the hotel an hour later. After filling our stomachs, we head out for the world's most crooked street, the Lombard Street. After that, we are contemplating to make a trip to Golden Gate Bridge and we end up at Fisherman's Wharf instead. When we get there, we are too tired and lose interest in shooting. As we are about to leave Fisherman's Wharf, a seagull's droppings plant itself on my head!! :S Luckily, we have water with us, so we manage to get rid of the poo poo.

Today, we have lunch at Cheesecake Factory. It's shared by Chris, Shee Yee, Irene and I as the portion is huge and we want a variety of food! This meal costs us USD 10 each including gratuity. Big savings plus no wastage of food. ;)


Thai spicy chicken pasta. It's a little sweet and I didn't really like it.


Caesar Salad.


Chicken n mushroom pizza.


Strawberry Cheesecake.




After lunch, some of them leave for Alcatraz whereas the rest of us go shopping. I swing by few shops and get myself a new dress and some cosmetics. By 4pm, I am resting in the hotel. After napping 5hours, SW arrives finally and we have dinner together.

四寶干撈河粉。

This is my dinner before my night shift. It looks bland but it's realllllly tasty! I love it and I tell myself I will be back for more! It consists of sotong ball, meat ball and fish dumpling.

The power of positive thinking

A colleague once told me the power of thinking positively as he is a strong believer of positive thinking and he said it always works on him. And here's an article I found online. Let's see if it works on me ;)

Positive Thinking Your Key to Success

Positive thinking brings inner peace, success, improved relationships, better health, happiness and satisfaction. It also helps the daily affairs of life move more smoothly, and makes life look bright and promising.

Positive thinking is contagious. People around you pick your mental moods and are affected accordingly. Think about happiness, good health and success, and you will cause people to like you and desire to help you, because they enjoy the vibrations that a positive mind emits.

In order to make positive thinking yield results, you need to develop a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever you do, but also take any necessary actions to ensure your success.

Effective positive thinking that brings results is much more than just repeating a few positive words, or telling yourself that everything is going to be all right. It has to be your predominant mental attitude. It is not enough to think positively for a few moments, and then letting fears and lack of belief enter your mind. Some effort and inner work are necessary.
Are you willing to make a real inner change?
Are you willing to change the way you think?
Are you willing to develop a mental power that can positively affect you, your environment and the people around you?

Here are a few actions and tips to help you develop the power of positive thinking:

Always use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, 'I can', 'I am able', 'it is possible', 'it can be done', etc.

Allow into your awareness only feelings of happiness, strength and success.

Try to disregard and ignore negative thoughts. Refuse to think such thoughts, and substitute them with constructive happy thoughts.

In your conversation use words that evoke feelings and mental images of strength, happiness and success.

Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome. If you visualize with concentration and faith, you will be amazed at the results.

Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.

Watch movies that make you feel happy.

Minimize the time you listen to the news and read the papers.

Associate yourself with people who think positively.

Always sit and walk with your back straight. This will strengthen your confidence and inner strength.

Walk, swim or engage in some other physical activity. This helps to develop a more positive attitude.

Think positive and expect only favorable results and situations, even if your current circumstances are not as you wish them to be. In time, your mental attitude will affect your life and circumstances and change them accordingly.
