Back to Toa Payoh Vista Market for lunch. Initially, I want to have 釀豆腐, another popular stall here, but the stall has sold out their stuffs.


Today, Chef Lim is manning his stall. He is a retiree now after leaving his job as chef with Mouth restaurant some time back. He believes in giving fine food, keeping consistency and providing food of high quality to his customers. He gets satisfaction when people enjoys and appreciates his food.


I have pork ribs in black bean sauce over rice, accompany with a double-boiled soup. It's absolutely delicious!



Chef Lim chats with Amy & Michael, his regular customers, in cantonese and Amy would translate for me.
