29.7.2009 Day Four

After a solid rest of 14 hours last night, I am fully recharged! I walk to Times Square, in hope to get ticket for noon show.

Yay! I get ticket for 2.30pm musical, which cost me USD 66!

Once I get my ticket, I go to Sapporo for lunch. There's a line when I get there and I am asked to share a table with a girl who queue ahead of me. I feel kinda awkward facing a stranger, dining in a restaurant. One good thing is our eyes barely meet as her eyes is glued to music videos on her I-phone. And I keep myself occupied, viewing the photos I just snapped in Times Square. The awkwardness fades away very quickly.

After lunch, I walk to the theater and I have one hour to kill before the musical commences. Initially, I intend to walk to Columbus Circus to find MJ magazines, but I give the idea a miss as I am afraid of not getting back in time for the show.

At 2pm, a super long line is formed outside the theater and the end of the line is not in sight. I don't like the idea of queuing to enter the theater, thus I wait for the line to clear. I stand there for like 30mins and to my astonishment, the line takes forever to clear!!! Getting a little impatient, I end up cutting the line with other crowd who runs out of patience like me. Ha.

This shop has a wide selection of magazines! You name it, they have it here! I think the amount of magazines here can bury you alive!! Haha! What you see here is perhaps, 1/4 of the shop!

I have been searching for MJ magazines, a friend wants me get. I walk to a magazine shop which is near the Park Central Hotel, where we used to stay and I remember they keep back dated magazines, because I am certain I'll find what I want ;)

I barely know Michael Jackson, frankly speaking. I ain't a fan of his. After his death, I didn't take note of his news, until I start reading these magazines and begin learning about him ~ I am daunted by his transformation.

My first Madeleine Wickham book ;) And this is also my very first hard cover book. I normally get paperbacks as they cost much lesser. This one costs me USD4! The usual price is USD26. Hard cover really feels nicer! ;) I can't wait to read it!

Madeleine is also known as Sophie Kinsella, the author for the bestselling shopaholic series. The gatecrasher is her second series. I am sure I will enjoy it as much as her old series!

I walk for god damn 30minutes to hit Lexington Avenue from Colombus Circus on 8th Avenue! Thus I hop onto any bus which is going to bring me to Marriot. When I get onto the bus, it starts pouring heavily! So I run to Bath n Body Works which is across the road for shelter, when I alighted. In less than ten minutes, the rain stops. So I hurriedly go grab dinner at Mac Donald's before heading back to hotel, as I have no clue when the next downpour is?!
