I step out for lunch at 10.45am and do some last minute shopping. By 1 o'clock, I am resting in bed for my night shift. To my surprise, I only wake at 10pm as I am planning to buy dinner before work. Bet I am super exhausted from lack of rest from the first and second night.

It was USD 98 (before tax) and it is USD 49 now! What a steal!!! This is my first pair of light-colored jeans. I hope it's not difficult pairing with any tops I have.
I went to bed, after a late dinner, at 11pm. By 5am, I am up when I wish to sleep till 7 in the morning. Feeling under-rest, I meet up with 2 colleagues for buffet breakfast in the hotel, before heading out.

My first 3-girls-only car ride in America. The driver is very courageous as this is her first attempt driving in States!!
We get to Napa after 3 hours in the road instead of 1.5 hours. We arrive Meadowood Resort at 12.30 and we are ready for lunch.

We get back to the hotel at 9pm and all of us were utterly drained. By ten o'clock, I have fallen asleep.
I wake feeling tired as I didn't get a good rest last night. I am woken up by the drilling work in the hotel. Before I step out for lunch, I ask for a change in the room and I am given a room on the top floor and hoping I will get ample rest for my night shift.
This is mushroom sauce pork chop rice. I get sick of it after savoring one piece of pork. Hmm.. not so satisfying..
Since my lunch is a little disappoint, I decide to go for my favorite dessert to make myself happier.
After resting in the noon time for several hours, I am out for dinner.
Roast goose rice is delightful!!

I bring this egg & luncheon meat sandwich to work and going to make this my breakkie tomorrow, as food at work place is not exactly healthy.
The day all of us look forward to, has arrived. We are spending the evening at East Coast Park with the kids. All the adults are busy snacking and chatting away! And we leave the children to play on their own.
It's such a nice evening as it's breezy by the beach. We are lucky, aren't we? ;)

My plan to wake after a short rest to make a trip to Queen Victoria Market did not materialize. I end up waking at 6.30 in the evening and I am in time to catch the shuttle bringing me to town.
En route to running some errands, I am lured into Kookai and I end up spending at least 30 minutes in the store.
Oh yes! This is a brand I adore in Australia. The big sale sign is calling me into the store. Haha! I tell myself I must not give this a miss!
Dinner at ten o'clock in Chinatown. This is lemongrass pork chop, one of the house signature dishes.
It's still drizzling when I walk back to the hotel from town.

It's kinda fun walking in the rain in the night, listening to my favorite songs. It's a different kind of experience altogether, which I do enjoy.

Oh, I have just completed updating the newest software for my phone. Update takes about 60 minutes. I get to add photo to my home page now! Look! How cute the purple polka dots are! Hee.
It's cool! And it has most features of I Phone 4's!! Fret not to those who own 3GS or 3G as you get to enjoy new features on your phone simply by updating your software! Simple!

I am on standby duty today and I sneak out of the house at 4 o'clock to meet Nathalie.
She goes on a huge shopping spree today, getting herself a set of Nike sports wear and some clothing from Esprit, dora stuffs for Julia, camera bag and tee for her boyfriend and a singlet for a friend in Holland.
We are having dinner finally, at ten o'clock as we had late lunch!

No new stuffs for me today but I didn't go home empty-handed. I get half a dozen of donuts home for my family and I. The donuts are going to be our breakfast tomorrow.
At 4.45pm, I arrive Furama City Center hotel lobby to pick Nathalie up. To my astonishment, I am told she is not staying in this hotel. I learned there's another Furama in Singapore!! Oh my god!! What a boo boo I have made! She has sent me the hotel details but I didn't take time to read the address and assume that's the one I know.
30mins later, Nathalie arrives on foot, from Furama River Front to Furama City Center. And two hungry girls quickly hopped to hawker center in Chinatown for lunch. After which, we make our way to Singapore's new sight.

You won't miss Singapore skyline on the Helix Bridge. And this is my favorite view of Singapore!!! Whenever I ride on bus 30 on the expressway to and fro Vivo City, I would glue my eyes on the gorgoeus skyline.
Marina Bay Sands houses a casino, 2500 guest rooms, a theater, mall, Sands Sky Park and convention center. Wow! All under one roof! I love it's magnificent architecture structure!!
We hop onto a bus which brings us to the nearest mall, Marina Square for the Great Singapore Sale. Nathalie ends the day with 3 shopping bags! Good to see her shop as she seldom have time to shop for herself back home.
We arrive Boon Tong Kee in River Valley at 10.30pm. I notice the eatery has been revamped, which means the price has certainly gone up too. 
The chicken rice has a new image too!! 
Oh!! This is my favorite deep fried tofu accompanied with green tea mayonnaise.
I am so satisfied with my dinner! We are real stuffed and hence we opt to walk back to the hotel which is 2 bus stops away.
We chat for a while before I head home to rest. I am so delighted to see her in Singapore as we last met in Holland in April 2009.
I hope I can meet up with her again on Tuesday..
