After resting four hours, I rise at 6 to get ready for work. It's going to be a long day for me. I pray that I would not make any blunder today, due to lack of rest.

It's my first time in Sherperd Bush. After a nice hot shower, I step out to find dinner.

I like the embience here.

My bottle of water has arrived and I am waiting patiently for my dinner. I am kinda excited to see how my food turns out..

Tada! Here's the stir fried noodles with duck and mixed vegetables. It tastes a little sweet and I am quite happy with it.

This is the only oriental dish here. They serve mostly burgers.

A unique way to present bill.

After dinner, I have a relaxing walk back to the hotel, walking in Holland Park, a very peaceful and tranquil residential estate. The residents in this area are indeed very lucky to reside in such a pleasant neighborhood!!

Back to hotel to retire, to get my well-deserved sleep! Oh yes, my long-awaited moment to lay on the bed for the next 12 hours, is here!

We have our lunch in the hotel. I learned the hotel serves best buffet in Jakarta and the restaurant is busy everyday! When we arrive at 2pm, the restaurant is still packed.

Did I eat alot? ;)

Start off with cold cuts.

A round of hot food. I go for local cuisine and give Cantonese, Italian and Indian cuisine a miss.

Gado gado which I didn't finish. It's too spicy for me.

Time for... dessert!! Green tea ice cream with almonds and M&M chocolate! And a scoop of jackfruit ice cream on the side.

Fruits..

Fruit cocktail.

After my buffet lunch in the hotel, I get back to the room to get some rest as I rise early today!

At 6.15pm, I set off for Plaza Senayan for dinner with Donny and Maya. I last met the couple 5 years ago, when their first child, Nadine arrived not long. David is supposed to join us but he plays us out and goes uncontactable!

I am caught in the daily jam in Jakarta this evening. My ride to the mall takes me sixty minutes!! Initially, I entertain myself watching mobile MTV on the cab and listening to music. I start getting impatient after 45 minutes in the cab.

On my way to Veerasamy Road for haircut. It's raining when I step out of my house.

This is my lunch at North Thailand.

Lydia's lunch.

Another favorite of mine.

This pork cutlet is super delicious!!! It's nicely marinated and then deep fried! I love it and I would return for more!! Strawberry shortcake and SW enjoy it as much as me.

Yay!! In the month of May, I have only bought two items, a 19 euros bag and a pair of berms which cost me 19.95 euros! This is it!! I am rejoicing to my minimum shipping last month!

Nevertheless, I am afraid I succumb to the big sale temptation in Hong Kong as well as the low pound when I visit London! How not to shop when pound is at it's record-hitting low! I have to make a killing at my favorite stores like Top Shop, Marks and Spencer, River Island and etc!! This means I'm very likely to go on shopping spree in June! By right, I ought to cut down on shopping as I am going on a holiday next month. Save me!!! Wahaha!!

3.6.2010 23 hours in Osaka

This is my lunch, seafood curry with rice.

Making this 4 storey Muji my first stop.

Strawberry Frappe to quench my thirst in the heat.

Most boaters {extreme bottom left} (Flat-brimmed and flat-topped straw hat, formerly worn by seamen, and now mostly at summer regattas or garden parties, often with a ribbon in club or college colors.) are selling at 1000 yen. I didn't like the wide flat top, but most locals look gd in them.

More hats!! You can find a wide range of hats here.. they have boater, newsboy cap, panama hat, beret, bucket hat, cowboy hat and etc..

Aren't Japanese lucky?

Summer is approaching! Many stylish Japanese are spotted donning them on the streets, as accessory. Here's one of the many hats shop I have entered.

H&M is packed with locals and tourists alike, as the clothes are relatively lower than most local brands.

On my way to the train station, I chance upon this cream puff which I have not tasted before. The outer layer crust is glazed with sugar. Taste best when chilled.

I am number ten in line.

The staff brings us freshly baked cake for us to taste.

Yay!! Hot and super soft cheese cake is fresh out from the oven!

I have to get two cakes since I spent 15 minutes in the line.

YES!! I find the big pack spicy strips finally!! I couldn't find pack of this size in Narita, Nagoya and Fukuoka!!

Instant tempura sobas and ramen I adore!!

My first bucket hat, with gathers at the back. ^^
I wanna wear this on my upcoming vacation!! I always have a reason to shop!! I promise I won't leave home without it!

Snacks for the two boys.

My scissor was confiscated at Brisbane customs when I left the country, last month, which was my 4th visit this year. Perhaps, this guy is super strict. Just my luck! :S

This seems to have a good coverage for pores. Hence, I get myself one.

My first Panama Hat from Uniqlo. Those I fancy are mostly 1900 yen. Glad I find one which is less expensive.

I used to get Hirota cream puffs in Shinjuku train station. Hence, I am so glad to chance upon the counter in Uehomachi station. Here's the chocolate and banana flavor which is seasonal.
