17.11.2009 Day 2 of Photo Marathon
Labels: daily life | at 9:53 PM
This is my first attempt shooting dogs. As Kiko has a lovely poodle, I shall make Chanelle my model. I was told Chanelle is cuter when she was younger as her fur was in a darker shade of brown and she looks like a soft toy! Ha.
Chanelle is such a proud model. Whenever she knows I am shooting her, she would choose to look away. It's really hard to get her to look into my direction.
The overall experience was not frightening as she is gentle and she wouldn't come close to me. Hence, my fear goes away very quickly.
Strawberry doggy. Hee. I love this outfit on her. It's so kawaii (cute)!!!
Chanelle in gorgeous kimono!
Lucky Chanelle has a wardrobe full of pretty clothes okie!
Wonderful room, here I come!

I am looking forward to my stay in W hotel in Seoul, although the location is not fantastic!! We choose luxury over location ;) We must spend more time in the hotel then. Hmmm.. from the pictures of wonderful room, I can tell the room is not too spacious. Bet it's perfect for the three of us!
Here's the different categories of room ~
Wonderfrul Room, Fabulous Room, Cool Corner Room, Studio Suite, Mega Suite, Fantastic Suite, Marvelous Suite, Wow Suite, Extreme Wow Suite. And the price goes up when the room size increases.

16.11.2009 Day 1 of Photo Marathon
Labels: daily life, Edric | at 8:53 PM
Today is the 4th day of my annual leave and it's the first day of my planned photo-marathon. The model of the day is baby Edric. He is 9 months 7 days old today. I have not shoot him for a month. He looks less babyish now! Hee. He is able to sit on his own and learning to stand on his feet.
By the time we get to Vivo City, it's 2.30pm and I am starved! As soon as the chicken soup arrives, I empty the bowl in no time, although the soup is not made from scratch.
My favorite model, Edric.

Jacquard one shoulder play suit.
We love this and we want this!! It's selling at 34.99 pounds in UK and S$117 here!
Animal print top.
This is my newest purchase!! Paid $84 for it after 15% discount when I approached another customer who owns a HSBC credit card. It's selling at 29.95 pounds in UK and I paid $15 more getting it here. I want to go London!!!
We rest our feet at Tea Loft in Ion before going to Raffles City Shopping Centre to get my top ;)
Pretty tea cup! But the tea is cold by the time I finish snapping photos!
I like this chocolate cake better.
The tea set which consists of a cup of coffee/tea and a piece of cake costs $2.80. This piece of cake reminds me of my childhood.

After a good 10.5 hours of rest, I go grab lunch nearby. Luke brings me to this beef noodle eatery.
This is Darian's dry beef noodle. You see some soup in the bowl but this is their version of dry noodles. They don't serve soup with it.
$5 Beef noodles. The sliced beef is extremely tender and the soup is flavorful! The so-called noodle is crinkled udon noodles.
At 12, the lunch crowd starts streaming in and the eatery is filled up quickly.

Yvonne, Luke and I go to 士林夜市 for dinner right after work. We are famished and we can eat a cow!!! Haha. We have oyster egg, prawn egg and taiwan's version of tempura. I am too hungry and I didn't take a picture of our dinner.
Look how long the queue to 豪大雞扒 is!! It's crazy!! We join the line while waiting for Yvonne who has gone to get food.
Luke and his signature pose. Ha. He is a joker and it's fun to have him around!
A travel programme host from Japan joins the crowd too. The boss of the stall brings her to the front of the line when he spots her in the queue. We ask a photo with her but we are turned down by thejavascript:void(0) translater.
綠茶雪片。This is my favorite and I always come here for dessert whenever I visit Taipei.
Look, how soft and smooth the shaved ice is!
We get back to hotel before the clock ticks 12 and in no time, I am on the bed, watching the plentiful local variety shows which are shown round the clock!
4.10.2009 Our lunch today!
MoMo, Strawberry Shortcake, Tazzie and I have our lunch at Nijumaru. The restaurant serves authentic Japanese cuisine and the interior is like those we find in Japan. We feel like we are dining in Japan. Wahaha.
Set lunch of the day!! It's only $10nett!!! "O
Siew Mai from the set lunch.
Strawberry shortcake's Agedashi Tofu with prawn.
Nijumaru Bento Set $18++.
Intelligent car park
Labels: Nagoya, travel | at 8:22 PM
You can see the car owners waiting outside the car park (extreme right hand side bottom) for the car lift to bring down the car from the slot. The car park is operated electronically. From what I gather, you input the car location into a panel and the car will be sent down by the lift. Damn cool, isn't it?
