The big giant!
An overcast day! It is bright and sunny when we are taking lunch. When we step out of Raffles City Shopping Center, the sky is filled with heavy clouds.

I wake at 4:30am today! :( Feeling under-rest, I make my way to my first scrape book class.
Due to increasing cases of suicidal, SMRT heightens up safety measures. 
Nine o'clock in the morning.
*Yawn yawn*
Breakfast before the class commences. This meal costs me $5.20 with a cup of hot tea. 
After a brief introduction to scrape booking, we are free to pick 3 types of papers and lettering. I am spoiled for choice as there's a wide varieties of paper. 
Useful tools I would love to own. The full set costs $68!
The instructor demonstrates how to form flowers and she gives this to me.
It's all about creativity when it comes to scrape booking. Unfortunately, I don't call myself a creative person. But I am sensitive to colors, shapes and texture. I am good in mix & match.

I attempt to take a nap at two pm but I didn't get a wink at all before work! Hence, I wake to have something light before getting ready for work.

I learn it was snowing last evening and I missed it as I am already in bed.

Lunch in Cosi. Cosi is filled with office crowd during lunchtime. Most of have them take sandwich with salad for lunch. Hmmm.. I prefer hot food in the cold weather, hence I have instant-made pizza.
Back to the room at 2.30pm. Today's a cloudy day. Hope the weather surprises me tomorrow.

I normally get Jergens back home as the price is lower than America. This time, the USD rate is rather low, so it costs less to get in America now.

I am a sucker for novelty. Haha. The new look simply attracts me! It looks pretty, doesn't it?

When I step into the room, I feel strong sense of familiarity as I was in the "same" room twelve days ago. I mean the orientation of the room is exactly the same. It brings back fond memories of my last trip with my fun companions. I leave my luggage stand at the same spot, i.e, right in front of the full length mirror outside the bathroom. Then I tell myself, this trip is not going to be the SAME as I am all alone this time round. Hence, I start laying my other stuffs in different spot so as to reduce the impact of similiarity.

In the dead of the night, what are you doing? I am plaing words with friends. I cannot stop playing as lady luck is smiling at me! I get high scores in a row!! It's so addictive. I play until six in the morning and I didn't get to slp until eight as my mind is still active. Hence, my appointment has to be canceled. 
The first opponent I chat with. She is from Washington state. 
Look!! How lucky I am for getting such great cards!! Unbelievable!!
I am playing with Sharris concurrently.
She is as lucky as me! She has an E & D at the right time! I must say she is a very strong opponent!
Another high score. Yohoo!
Damn it! I give her the chance to score triple for the word!

A very simple SMS from a colleague at the end of course of work, saddens me. I loathe the parting feeling! I didn't expect myself to feel this way either. Perhaps that's how woman are made! Woman are easily attached to one, for this instant, over a span of a week.

A hearty breakfast in the hotel, with LL, Simon & CL. These are all my favorites!!
Once I emerge from the underground train, I feel a strong gust of wind coming from the street! Gosh! It's real chilly today. I pop into Urban Outfitters quickly and leave with three tops an hour later.
My second stop is Forever 21 and I pick several items for my ex-colleagues for Christmas.
The Christmas fair in Union Square Park is filled with people. 
My third stop. I leave with a matching scarf and glove which cost me USD 5 each.
My fourth stop. This is one shop I would not miss! The instant scratch big card allows me to enjoy 30% disc off a pair of discounted shoe I fancy. 
On my way to 34th street from 14th street. 
Arrive my destination finally! I am here for Steve Madden as I am hoping to get the white shoe.
Such a Carrie Brahshaw dress!! I want this dress designed by Lanvin for H&M, but it's over-priced! USD 249! Are your eyes popping?!

I have always wanted to get a nice checked shirt. Finally find one which I like! It was USD 39 and now USD 29.
Two tees from Urban Outfitters at USD 24 for two pieces.
I am close to getting this but both stores I visit do not have a new pair. Perhaps, I should consider getting brown or black. White is the best color!!
