I find Cantonese, English-accent English and Japanese are 3 languages which are music to my ears. This also means I love to visit HKG, UK and Japan. On my recent trip to Manchester, I would open up my ears to listen to locals speaking in their heavily-accented English! It's a pleasure to me!

Although I didn't rest well last night, I have a relaxing day dipping in the pool and catching up with Karen at the same time. I last seen her last December and we have slot catching up to do. After the swim, we have our dinner at a nearby hawker centre. In the evening, we chill out at Old Town.
My last trip is a mere 22 hours stay and I spend six hours in town today! I kinda regret not setting off earlier.

The hotel is like 20 minutes walk away from the Marks and Spencer in town, which is my last stop. I wish to continue shopping but the shops start closing one by one in the evening. I am lucky to catch the last complimentary shuttle bus which brings me to the train station which is closer to the hotel. From the drop off point, it takes me 10 minutes to get back to the hotel. Phew! I really cannot imagine lugging these full bags and walk for 20 minutes!!
